| Biography
Denise Campbell has developed
the imprint Universal Write Publications more than three years
ago and through it creatively produced works, which includes Spanish
Eyes, and Love Thy Sister Watch Thy Back. There are two poetry
books, Ebony Passion, and By Faith. Her new releases Man Killer,
REM Sleep and her children’s book series, Cheyanne’s
Book Series named for her daugher Cheyanne are the next projects
on her agenda. However, that’s not where her passion ends.
In order to meet the demands of her own works as well as to help
others, Universal Write Publications became a corporation with
a unique concept to publishing, marketing and services.
By teaming and networking with
prolific companies and organizations, Denise Campbell hopes to
utilize her company Universal Write Publications LLC (www.universalwrite.com)
to promote the freedom of lyrical poets and musical artists internationally.
She is striving to provide a venue
for publishing works that will benefit and uplift our people,
while allowing us to strive financially as individuals and promote
the social support of Black owned Black operated businesses in
our community. Denise has already dedicated her life to Literacy
in children by working with local schools, and has used having
been the survivor of abuse to support and bring attention to Rape
Crisis and Domestic Violence shelters and organizations. She hopes
to continue in the path of Dr. King, Pete Seeger, the Black Panthers
and countless numbers of poets and singers like Billie Holiday,
James Brown and Phillis Wheatly, who used their talents and skills
to fight oppression in our community and continue to bring light
to the violence and oppression that still exist by working with
individuals of our time in conjunction with C-A-H.
She has performed and done theatrical
performances and poetry slams nationwide and will continue to
do so as an advocate for our community. Denise Campbell have been
acknowledge with accolades in newspapers such as, The New York
Daily News, The Queens Tribune, Flatbush Life, Bay News, Canarsie
Digest, The University Reporter, Sankofa Literary Journal, The
Indianapolis Recorder, The Black Board Review Times, New Tech
Times, Power Of The Word and Five Borough Magazine (where she
was editor and chief).
She has made major radio show
appearances at WWWRL 1600AM with Dr. Jeff Gardere, Clinical Psychologist,
WPSC 88.7FM with Marc Medley and other online radio stations and
have had her work appear on Blue Note Records Lonnie Plaxico’s
CD entitled "Short Takes" (www.LonniePlaxico.com). See

Denise Campbell is an alumnus
of State University College at Buffalo where she has earned her
