THE EBONY PRINCESS
(From Me to All of You)

Her strength and power abounds the universe, yet only in whispers of silence is she heard throughout the land
In her mind, heart, body, and soul does life immerse; the most beautiful gift in the life of a man
She is the mother of civilization, our heaven on earth, and the breeze that blows from sea to shore
The diamond of the heart, the pearl of the eyes, as it is her inner beauty that we as men must learn to truly adore
The most wonderful woman in the whole world, and this is what separates her from the rest
With all my love, respect, and honor forevermore… to the Ebony Princess

From that walk you walk to that talk you talk
From those luscious lips to those swinging hips
From those precious thighs to those seductive eyes
From that elegant physique to that deep-rooted mystique
From your lovely face to your stylish grace
From that mystery love potion to that body slow motion
For being so tough when life gets so rough
For your giving ways after receiving no love for days

Sometimes, I wonder that if the Ebony woman didn’t greatly sacrifice where would I be
Hold on sisters because the world and everything in it is your guaranteed destiny
The day is coming soon when your faith, courage, wisdom, and power shall be
raised; and the revelation of truth we will all confess
You shall take your proper throne, and all men shall give honor and praise to the Ebony Princess
What a beautiful story about this God-sent woman in all her glory, who simply stands as being the best
My confession in stating the truth, from me to all of you… to the Ebony Princess

And when this time has passed, one day all of humanity shall be seen bowing down to the one and only ...Ebony Queen!

Insatiable

Here we are in time trying to find our way
In a dimension that has captured a timeless place
Here we are in a silhouette of exquisite taste
Loneliness not our companion in this time and space
When we are asleep, our souls long to finally meet
When we are awake, our hearts ache to one beat
When we are apart, our minds struggle to be free
When we are together, our bodies in passion agree

Insatiable when I'm close to you
Unconditional that these words are true
Wanna go deeper inside the mind of you
Make it sweeter, but only if you want me to
Insatiable when I'm holding you
Incredible the way I flow with you
Unbelievable how time flies with you
Unspoken promises says I would never lie to you

Close your eyes and open up your mind
To the infinite possibilities we shall surely find
No need to worry about where to draw the line
Experience these precious moments through its
fullness in time
Do not be afraid of knowing what is real
Journey with me, and by degrees we shall reveal
Life's pleasures that we both once wanted to conceal

Insatiable when I'm close to you
Unconditional experienced by a chosen few
Wanna go deeper inside the new in U
Make it sweeter, but only if it's good for 2
Insatiable the minute I gaze into your eyes
Incomparable the second I realize
So beautiful to prove real love not lust
So wonderful it is to truly get to know us

So dear to me... heaven so near to me
Both of us with the longing to be free
Insatiable is where we want to be

All That Jazz

How do you comprehend that rhythm section playin' in
the background?
Flowin' through the ears with a brand new sound
Encompassing the world's stage with plenty of style,
grace and pizazz
The rebirth of cool is in all that jazz
There's "Count" and his orchestra playin' their
showstoppin' tunes
With the croonin' of Joe Williams makin' the
ladies swoon
Coolin' down abstract with "Yardbird" and his
bebop style
Smooth Ahmad Jamal on the piano keepin' it mild
Look at Lionel Hampton catchin' those vibes
Pickin' up the pace with Eubie givin' us ragtime
There goes Miles on his trumpet soundin' off
jazzamatazz! jazzamatazz!
With Blakey on the drums beatin' off razzamatazz!
razzamatazz!
This is a lifestyle not a one-nighter or fad
The New Age Renaissance is in all that jazz
My main man "Cannonball" blowin' on his sax
Along with the lovely voice of Nancy helpin'
to relax
Hittin' on those keys is Duke and his crew
Goin' down deep with Louie, Dizzy and Q
Travelin' to far off places with Herbie, Dexter and
Thelonius 'round midnight
Sizin' up a soundtrack with Terence B. keepin'
it tight
Reminisce to Ella, Sarah, Dinah and "Lady Day"
Reflections with Lena and all night long to Sade
Walkin' in giant steps with Coltrane and his quintet
Avant garde in Ornette, Donald B., Ramsey
and his set
Glittering stars with Nat "King", Natalie and Freddie
singing sweet melodies for the heart and soul
Full moon glowing for Etta, Betty, Carmen and Nina
in letting their mysteries of song unfold
Big props to the Jazz Messengers, Max, Sonny,
Charlie and to Wynton and his brothers
Many thanks to Ray, Clifford, Grover, Phyllis,
and to the many others
Much love and respect for Cassandra, Dianne, Brenda
and Vanessa
And for the new school in Will, Diana, Antonio, Marcus
and Joshua
Can you hear a cultural outpouring through these
beautiful women and men?
Bringin' back the Harlem Renaissance all over
and new again?
Straight to the "high life" with plenty of style,
grace and pizazz
The Cultural Revolution is in all that jazz

Made In America

Slippin' in education; learnin' in contradiction
High-tech but conflicted, by the evil and the wicked
Youth refused a rebel dazed and confused
Souls in derision; made bad decisions
Made in America
Victims of circumstance; the poor in games of chance
No freedom no justice; no opportunities for just us
Dying on foreign soil; all in the name of... oil?
Made-up war to settle an old score
Made in America
Freedom of speech the saving grace
On the inside every tongue and human face
Multi-national control, neo-principalities old
Made in high places
Made in America
